A Bavarian intellectual, and one of the founders of the National Socialist Movement
On March 1918 he set up a Committee of Independent Workmen, with an anti-Semitic and anti-foreigner guidelines. In January 1919 this group turned into the German Workers' Party, which also Hitler joined. Together with Gottfried Feder, the Party's Leaders drew up 25 points program, which was adopted in April 1 1920, when the party changed its name to National Socialist Workers' Party (NSDAP). After Hitler became leader of the party in 1921 Drexler moved to the background. He died in Munich in 1942.
